The Launch of Jigsaw Junkie

I’ll be slowly building up the resources on this blog, but for now, welcome!  So far you can take a look at my page on puzzle brands and my page on The House of Puzzles.

I also plan to work on a page on puzzle series (wasgij, JVH, and more) and limited edition Christmas puzzles.

As we move along, I’ll be posting puzzle reviews and, I hope, interviews with some puzzle manufacturers and artists.

Please leave a comment if you have any thoughts on suggestions for the site or you have any puzzle reviews or suggestions to share.

  1. I would love to see a page on Linda Jane Smith puzzles. I find it difficult to get an overview of how many there are and when they where released. So far I only have “Dappy Dogs No. 1: The Grooming Parlour”. As far as I can tell there hasn’t been any more doggy themes ones released. I would like to start collecting the crazy cats puzzles, but I would like to start with the older ones that might not be in stock much longer. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the good work!

    1. Hi, Helle, I’ll put that on my ‘to do’ list. It’s quite thick at the moment! I found some older LJS puzzles from Bits and Pieces on ebay. Here’s one, for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BOUDOIR-KITTENS-1500-PIECE-JIGSAW-PUZZLE-BY-LINDA-JANE-SMITH-/201273970105?pt=Puzzles_US&hash=item2edcdd0db9

The other main makers are Gibsons and Ravensbugers. You can always check amazon UK and anything you see on ebay that’s not on there is out of print.
