Top 13 for Halloween

This is my favorite time of year by far! I love Fall and I love Halloween. Yes, more than Christmas and summer combined. So while we’re in the season, I love to do Halloween themed puzzles, preferably while watching horror movies on TV.

In this week’s post I share my favorite Halloween-themed puzzles currently available at Puzzle Warehouse. Feel free to add your favorites in the comments below!

13. “Trick or Treat For all Ages”, Sunsout (625 pieces)

11. “Jack O Lanterns” by Lori Shory, White Mountain (1000 pieces)

10. “Halloween Fright Night” by Cheryl Bartley, Sunsout (500 pieces)

The colors in this folk art puzzle make it a real stand out. If you don’t like the darks in a lot of Halloween puzzles, this one’s for you! Click to see it on Puzzle Warehouse.

9. “Beware Haunted House”, Sunsout (1000 pieces)

Here’s a new puzzle with 1000 pieces, a classic trick-or-treaters with haunted house scene. There’s a nice variety of colors/textures in this scene that should make for easy puzzling. 8. “Misty Magic” by Geno Peoples, Sunsout (1000 pieces)

This is a new puzzle for 2017. It’s a spooky scene and looks like a real challenge too with all that dark blue!

7. “Halloween Town” by Randy Wollenmann, Vermont Christmas Company (550 pieces)

This one was at the top of my list last year and it’s still available and still awesome! Check out my review here.

6. “Scaredy Cat”, Sunsout (300 pieces)

I loved this puzzle when it was released last year. I still wish it was available in a larger piece count per my perference. But this size is ideal for a single evening session or for puzzlers who prefer less work!

5. “Monsters Night Out” by Bill Bell, Sunsout (1000 pieces)

This puzzle has been out for a few years and it remains near the top of my list. It’s just a fun monster bash with nice colors and a cute cartoony style. The fall leaves on the black around the edge provide some challenge. (Click on the images below to see the puzzle on Puzzle Warehouse.)

5. “Ghostly Gathering” by Randy Wollenmann, Vermont Christmas Company (1000 pieces)

This is a cute trick or treat scene. I like the big color blocks — the blue house and the fall leaves at the top — combined with a variety of human figures in costume. (Click on the images below to see the puzzle on Puzzle Warehouse.)

4. “Trick or Treat Hotel” by Charles Wysocki, Buffalo Games (500 pieces)

This puzzle was at the top of my list last year, and I high recommend it if you haven’t gotten it yet. It has some challenge despite the smaller piece count due to the repeating patterns on the house and on the Spanish moss in the trees. Lots of great weird little figures in it. 3. “Halloween Scene”, Sunsout (500 pieces)

2. “Halloween House” by Steve Crisp, White Mountain (1000 pieces)

This is a reimagining of another popular puzzle image “Summer House“. It looks like the bones of the house have remained the same, but artist Steve Crisp has added a lot of new Halloween details. (Click on the image below to see the puzzle on Puzzle Warehouse.)
