New Wasgij: Original #24, Back To #2, and Christmas #12!

I found three new Wasgij puzzles on the web today. I love Wasgij puzzles and I’m always happy to see new ones. These should be available in the US in short order. For those who have never done a Wasgij, the idea is that the puzzle you assemble is  not the box image, but some spin on the box image. WASGIJ ORIGINAL #24:  “A Very Merry Holiday”, 1000 pieces In this puzzle, the image you assemble is a “180 degreesRead more

Bits And Pieces: New Spring 2016 Puzzles

Bits and Pieces have released their new puzzles for spring. There are some nice ones. You can see them all here. Below are my favorites. “Pony and Pals” by Jack Williams, 750 or 300 pieces This is the only new shaped puzzle in the offering, which is a little disappointing. In previous years, they’ve offered spring themed puzzles like “Ducklings”. But this is a nice enough shaped puzzle. As always, to Bits and Pieces: More variety of shaped puzzles please!Read more

House of Puzzles – New Winter 2016 Puzzles

House of Puzzles releases new images twice a year–in February and July. Their February puzzles just went up on jigsawpuzzlesdirect.co.uk. Here they are. Find the Differences #10: Camping by Ray Cresswell, 1000 pieces This is my top pick of the new releases. Most of the February puzzles are 500 pieces, and I like the larger size. Buffalo Games has been releasing so many great puzzles! I really love the brand too. There are most new ones up on their site. “A Peach of a Day” by Charles Wysocki, 300 pieces Buffalo makes Wysocki puzzles in various sizes. Usually when they release one in 300 pieces I’m bummed because I don’t normally buy anything below 500. It just goes so fast it’s not worth it. I absolutely love this ‘view out the window’ image, so I hopeRead more
